Every Wednesday and Thursday during the asparagus season, our house speciality, „Huchelspargel“, is on the menu. This old variety has been back on offer at Haus Deckers' since 2007. Thanks to the "Walbecker Huchelspargel 2015 e.V.", we can continue to offer this variety in the future.

When the house was confiscated by the British during the Second World War, they unceremoniously renamed it. From then on it was called "The Savoy" and the Walbeck market was named "The Strand".
